Eindhoven Airport (EIN)
Driving Directions and Car Hire / Rental
(Eindhoven, Noord Brabant, Netherlands)
Road access to Eindhoven Airport (EIN) is provided primarily by the A2 / E25 motorway (Poot van Metz), which runs close to the eastern perimeter of the complex. Drivers should exit at Junction 29 and take the feeder road. This leads directly to the ground of Eindhoven Airport, on the western side of the city.
The motorway can be accessed easily from Eindhoven city centre, and also from both Utrecht and Amsterdam. Especially nearby, Veldhoven lies directly south, with Aalst and Waalre located further south.
Eindhoven Airport (EIN) Airport Car Rental / Car Hire
Car rental companies have franchise desks at Eindhoven Airport and are on hand to provide services to arriving passengers in need of a rental vehicle.
To be able to hire a car at the airport and drive in the Netherlands, you must be at least 23 years old and bring a full driving licence. Those flying into Eindhoven Airport from outside of the EU should also bring an International Driving Permit, which may be required by some car rental companies. The Dutch, as with the rest of Continental Europe, always drive on the right and standard rules of the road should always be adhered to.
Renting on-the-spot is acceptable at Eindhoven Airport, but booking online ahead of travel is wiser, as it provides a guarantee that you will get your choice of car and offers cheaper rates.
